Designed with four of the senses in mind - touch, sound, smell & sight - Pause promotes mindful action within a busy work day encouraging the user to take time out of their day to check in with their mind and body
Designed to do more than sharpen a pencil - Pause serves as a reminder of the importance of slowing down and checking in, both during our workday and beyond
The shape and scale was carefully considered to give the sharpener a presence in the had and to heighten the awareness of the sense of touch
The choice of sandpaper as the sharpening element slows down the process and creates a more soothing sound and more significant smell
